Discovery call

Get started by hopping on a call with me to discuss the process, timing, and best of all your vision for the project.

Client homework

It’s time to gather your imagery, copy, and inspiration. I make it easy with questionnaires and templates, and am here to guide you through this process.

Moodboards + style guide

I’ll kick the project off with 3 mood boards featuring colors, fonts, and graphic elements, and together we’ll refine the overall feel for your new website.

Design Work Commences

I’ll put it all together on a password protected development site that you can review periodically along the way.

Pre-launch review

We will review the site together, place test orders if applicable, and make any final tweaks needed before launch.

Client training

Before or shortly after the site goes live, we’ll hop on a recorded Google Meet where I’ll walk you through the backend of your website and answer any questions you may have.

My web design process typically takes 3-4 weeks, depending on the scope of the project and client revisions.
Yes! A new website is a great time to refresh your branding. Bundle my branding package with any web design package for the full experience. If you do choose to add on the branding package, we’ll start with getting your logo finalized before diving into the web design process.
I specialize in Squarespace and Shopify website design. Depending on your needs (namely, whether you have a product to sell or not), I’ll help you navigate which of these two platforms is best for your business. Both Shopify and Squarespace are fully customizable, wonderfully user-friendly, and offer fantastic customer support. Each also has a wide range of plans to fit your budget and needs.
When we begin the process, I will provide you with a new client questionnaire as well as a checklist of what I’ll need from you with deadlines. The two most important pieces will be the imagery and the copy.
I highly recommend taking the time to get some nice photographs taken of yourself, your business, and your products or portfolio if applicable. Great imagery makes for great websites, and will leave site visitors with both a personal and professional first impression. Stock images may also be used if needed.
Your copy is also a very important part of your new site. I will provide you with a template to help you write your website copy and coach you along the way.
A 10% non-refundable deposit will be charged at booking to secure your date on my calendar. 40% is charged at project commencement and the balance will be paid in full at project completion. Payment may be made via credit card, ACH, Paypal, or a good old fashioned check in the mail - whichever is most convenient for you.
Per my contract, full ownership of website and/or logo design assets will be transferred to you once the project is complete and paid in full.
I believe in you! Included in every web design package is a recorded training session with me as well as a personalized New Website Guide PDF with some quick tips and links. In addition, both Squarespace and Shopify are easy to use, have great help sections, and offer superior customer support. I just know you’re going to love them!
All my web design packages include 2 weeks post-launch support via email. Additional training time or adjustments to the site outside this window can be booked with me at my hourly design rate.
